High-Output Shower Filter
The Sprite High-Output Shower Filter (HO) contains a reversible filter cartridge, rated for one year. This high performance shower filter combines easy operation and maintenance with the ultimate in structural integrity and overall reliability.
In fact, the HO is the strongest replaceable shower filter available on the market, today. Pressure tested to 600PSI, the HO is offered with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The High-Output filter Cartridge (HOC) is a reversible one-year filter cartridge. It can be easily changed and operated in either direction. Periodic reversing of the cartridge not only ensures balanced filtration and eliminates the potential for channeling, but also back-flushes the cartridge as it is Filtering.
The most important feature about our shower filters is that they use KDF and Chlorgon®. KDF removes "free chlorine," which is a chlorine gas emitted from the water. Most shower filters only use KDF.
Chlorine gas is not the only problem, though! Chlorine remains IN THE WATER if you only use KDF! That's where Chlorgon® comes in, to remove the remaining chlorine that's still in the water.
If your filter does not have Chlorgon®, chances are...you're still bathing in water with chlorine. This can be tested with a pool water test kit, available at any pool store or some hardware stores.

1. Remove existing shower head from shower arm
2. Thread the Sprite HO Shower Filter onto the shower arm. Fits on standard 1/2 inch threaded pipe. If you do not have a 1/2 inch threaded pipe coming out of your wall, you can get the parts you need at the hardware store. Shower filters are not returnable due to incompatibility with your plumbing.
3.Attach supplied 2.5 g.p.m. Shower Head onto the Sprite HO Shower Filter. If you have an existing shower head or wand that you wish to use, it needs a 1/2 inch female thread in order to fit.
